AUROkeys, in collaboration with DOSSEN’s youth-driven “Qingmao Universe” IP, has reimagined the humble key card with the launch of its first city-themed series of creative keycard, using Guangzhou as its canvas. This innovative project transforms functional items into immersive cultural souvenirs through custom design.

Featuring iconic city symbols like the Canton Tower, Qilou arcades, and Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, and fusing them with Qingmao’s trendy street-style flair, the design integrates classic Cantonese elements like “yum cha” and “shi duo” (convenience stores), sparking nostalgia and local pride among guests.

The limited-edition cards quickly became hot collector’s items, shared widely across social media. More than just a room key, they act as an invitation for travelers to explore local lifestyle in  Guangzhou, creating a deep sense of connection and excitement for guests staying at DOSSEN hotels.

Following this success, AUROkeys dove deeper into the cultural treasures of Lingnan — this time, Cantonese Opera. Drawing inspiration from the art’s ornate headpieces and symbolic color palettes, AUROkeys deconstructed their elegant forms through modern design and fused them with the vibrant Qingmao character — a stunning tribute to tradition reimagined for today.

This successful partnership with Qingmao Universe powerfully showcases the creative strength and the huge potential of AUROkeys keycards as cultural carriers that enhance brand identity, drive emotional resonance, and create immersive guest experiences.
